OK, I am going to make another attempt -- after having been gently criticized by a close friend for letting this blog grow stale. I have a different idea about what a blog can be though than some of the really prolific posters. It doesn't make sense to me to be posting every personal thing that happens to me -- the new place for spicy noodles that I discovered, the links to every other person's interesting comment... unless it is apropos to a comment I am making.
